100/10(18.4ov)
Sylhet Sunrisers
101/3(17.0ov)

Sylhet Sunrisers beat Minister Group Dhaka by 7 wickets

That’s it from this game then! Cricketing action does not end though as there is another game to follow. Comilla Victorians will take on Fortune Barishal in match number 8 later on. That begins at 1700 IST (1130 GMT). Till then, take care and goodbye!
The winning captain, Mosaddek Hossain says the toss is very important especially here in Mirpur. Adds the wicket wasn’t that bad and the bowlers bowled well and he along with Gazi set the tone. States they needed momentum and they are looking forward to the next game.
Nazmul Islam is the MAN OF THE MATCH! He took 4 wickets in what turned out to be a match-winning performance.
Mahmudullah, the skipper of Minister Group Dhaka says that the wicket was fine and there were no demons in it. He adds that they batted poorly and he along Naim did try to get them back in the game but they were disappointed in the end. Mentions that it is a big boost for them that Mortaza is back into the side and he gives them more balance. Also adds that they need to pull up their socks and need to improve a lot in their batting and need to be hard on themselves.
Time for the Presentation ceremony...
For the Sunrisers, it was about one batter playing well and Anamul Haque did so. He was the mainstay and the others played around him. Quite a comprehensive win for the Sunrisers and a well-deserved one as well. Stay tuned for the post-match Presentation.
A dominating performance then for the Sunrisers as they get their first win this year. Dhaka on the other hand, have now lost 3 in the 4 games they have played. They were just not up for this one. They were bundled out for 100 in the first innings and then in reply, were poor with the ball and in the field. There were far too many boundary balls bowled and a few dropped catches too. That is just not affordable when defending a low score.

Slower and shorter, outside off. Ravi Bopara leaves it alone and even the bowler is surprised by that one.

OUT! TAKEN! Just two runs required but Anamul Haque is on 45 and looks for the big hit to reach his half-century. A length ball, angling in from middle. Haque steps out and looks to force it over the wide long on fence. He gets a top edge which is skied towards the mid-on region. Tamim Iqbal paddles back and to his right from mid on and takes a avery good catch. A consolation wicket for Mashrafe Mortaza.

Close but probably an inside edge on that one. A length ball, nipping back in from around off. Haque looks to flick it away but gets an inside edge onto the pads. The bowler appeals but the umpire shakes his head.

A length ball, angled in from outside off. Colin Ingram just opens the face of the bat and guides it towards third man for one.

WIDE! Full and wide, a bit too wide for the umpire's liking.
Strategic Time-Out! With just 4 runs needed for victory, it's only about a matter of time before Sylhet Sunrisers get their first win of the competition. Anamul Haque has been steady at the crease and has been well supported by Colin Ingram here. With a low score to defend, the Dhaka bowlers just haven't had an answer.
