Fortune Barishal will be disappointed. They could have wrapped the game a long way ago, however, allowed a partnership to build and put themselves under pressure. Before that, it was a brilliant bowling performance. Kyle Mayers took two in his first over and the others bowled well too. Kyle Mayers though was the man of the hour as his effort with the bat along with Mushfiqur Rahim helped Fortune Barishal get a score above 180.
That was some effort from Benny Howell and Ariful Haque. It was turning out to be a comfortable win for Fortune Barishal, They lost six wickets in the first 10 overs but then came the stand between Haque and Howell. Both scored fifties and added over 100. However, have to say it came a bit too late as Sylhet Strikers needed too much runs at that time. Both fell in the last two overs and that also means, Sylhet Strikers are out of the playoffs race.
