South Africa got their wish to bowl first, and the Proteas pacers demonstrated why they wanted to make first use of the surface. Marco Jansen, Kagiso Rabada, and Ottneil Baartman utilized the hardness of the new ball and extracted extra bounce from the pitch, posing tough questions to the opposition.
