He mentions that they need to come prepared in the next game.
Shakib Al Hasan is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH. He says that when he spend 7-8 balls, he thought that it is a good wicket and they needed over 300. He says that they wanted to capitaise on the good start and keep the monetunm going and applauds Yasir Ali for his performance. He mentions that as soon as shine was gone the ball did not do much and they had to take calculated risk and it came off today. Tells that it was important to go in the middle overs and the momentum they gained in the 30-40 th over proved vital. He mentions that they knew Rabada would bowl in the end and their scoring rate meant that he had to be brought in early.
Temba Bavuma, the skipper of South Africa says that Bangladesh had momentum coming into the break as they have away 180 runs in the last 20 overs. He says that they need to have lot of conversations about their performance with the ball and they did well in the start but could not do well in the last overs. He says that they would have been happy with 270-280 on the board but they gave away 40 runs more and and that was the difference in the end. Tells that with a big score to chase they needed someone to play a big innings and score the century and says that his dismissal was untimely. He mention that they need to play better in the next game and have to bounce back. States that they need to show resilience they are known for.
Time for the presentation...
Bangladesh were brilliant with the ball! It was Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam with the new ball who caused problems. The Fizz, Mustafizur Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan continued the good work in the middle overs. They did not pick wickets but kept a hold on the scoring. Mehidy Hasan leaked runs in his initial overs but came back strongly at the death. The pick however, were the Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam who were just brilliant and always took wickets when needed. Overall, a very clinical show by the visitors.
In the chase, they lost three early wickets. Bavuma and Rassie van der Dussen then steadied the ship but when it was time to up the ante, Bavuma fell. Miller and Rassie van der Dussen then revived the hopes but the former fell when his side needed him to go on for longer. It was all left for Miller to do in the end, he tried his best but it was too much of a task and in the end, his side fell well short.
To be honest, that stand between Yasir Ali and Shakib Al Hasan just took the game away from them. The rate at which they scored with was outstanding and since then, South Africa just could not find a way back into the game.
A thumping win for Bangladesh to take a 1-0 lead in this series. What a statement made by them, they were not given a chance by many to win probably even one game but they have beaten the hosts in the first one itself and in some style.

OUT! LBW! That's it! Bangladesh have created history! It is their first ODI win on the South African soil. They have won this game comfortably. A flatter delivery on middle. Keshav Maharaj goes for a revsere hit but misses. The ball hits his pads and there is an appeal. The umpire turns it down. Mahmudullah asks his skipper to take the review and Bangladesh take it. The replays roll in and the UltraEdge shows no bat involved. The Ball tracker rolls and it shows three reds. So Keshav Maharaj is gone and South Africa have been bowled out. Bangladesh win by 38 runs!
