That is it from this game then! Action from this tournament continues as Bangladesh take on New Zealand on the 12th of this month. That match begins at 0730 IST (0200 GMT). Till then, goodbye and take care!
Kane Williamson says it is a much improved performance from their side compared to the last time they faced Pakistan. He reckoned spinners would do well on this wicket. Further says you need to be disciplined on such wickets and that is what their bowlers did. Ends by saying he is looking forward for the next game.
Babar Azam says the wicket was  touch slow in the first innings and adds the batting was not upto the mark. Mentions they will try and rectify their mistakes. Ends by saying 160 would have been a good total.
Michael Bracewell, MAN OF THE MATCH, says it was a different role that he had to bowl in the Powerplay and it is not easy but he is happy he could do well here. States he is enjoying the role he is playing and he is working hard on his skills. Mentions he has practiced his variations and it is coming out well. He feels they adapt well and not everyday the wicket might suit the spinners.
... TIME FOR THE PRESENTATION ...
For Pakistan, they just were not up for this game! They were poor with the bat first up and then with the ball too, it was not their best performance. Yes, their bowlers did not have enough runs to play with but they will be disappointed with how easily they let the Kiwis score the runs and the fact that they only managed to take one wicket. They were just outplayed.
A thumping win for the Kiwis then! It was all set up by their bowlers as they restricted Pakistan to a very low total on what seemed a tricky surface then. However, when the hosts' openers came out to bat, it seemed like there is nothing wrong with the surface. Allen was hitting boundaries for fun and Conway was happy to play second fiddle. They added 117 and more or less sealed the deal for their side. Allen scored a half ton but fell shortly. Conway and Williamson ensured there were no more wickets to fall and they helepd their side bag their second win.
