Charith Asalanka says credit to New Zealand for how they played but they could have done well. Tells they have to try and play the spin well. Feels they have a settled team now and this kind of game happens regularly.
Wanindu Hasaranga wins the Player of the Series award. He says his hamstring is bad and that he couldn't play the ODIs. Tells he tried to target the stumps and keep it simple.
Lockie Ferguson wins the Player of the Match award. He says it was a team effort from them. Adds it was nice to be out there but was not happy to leave the boys due to the injury. Shares the pacers  had to hold up one end with the ball turning.
...Presentation...
It was looking like a straight forward win for Sri Lanka with the total on the board but their top order was cleaned up by the hat trick hero Lockie Ferguson. Mitchell Santner then used spinners mostly to create some pressure and they did exceedingly well. Lockie Ferguson though went off due to injury and Mitchell Santner had to rely on other bowlers. Glenn Phillips turned up as he did against India in the recently concluded Test match with the ball and helped his team defend a low total. This is the lowest total successfully defended by New Zealand in T20Is
A low scoring thriller! New Zealand have levelled the series. Who saw this coming? The other day, another low score but Sri Lanka chased it down however, New Zealand pulled off a really good win here. The bowlers have done the job. Glenn Phillips is the hero for them as his three wickets including the big one of Nissanka in the last over helps New Zealand avoid a defeat. It was Nissanka vs New Zealand all the way. The others struggled on a tricky pitch. Nissanka kept the  hopes alive till the last over, it felt like he will take his team home but not to be.

Nuwan Thushara is the last man in.
OUT! GONE! New Zealand are one wicket away! Floated full and outside off, Matheesha Pathirana just walks past the ball as he tries to push but misses and the keeper does the rest. A lot happening. All three results possible. Glenn Phillips is on a hat trick.
