That is all from this game. The action continues in the Hundred as Trent Rockets will take on London Spirit on the 7th. So join us at 11 pm IST (5.30 pm GMT) and join us earlier for the build up. Cheers.
Tim Southee wins the Player of the Match award. He says they assessed conditions reasonably well and overall were clinical all around. Shares it's a great team to be a part of. Tells a win is always nice, and can do wonders to the confidence. Mentions they will enjoy today, leave the game behind and turn up and perform on the given day.
Once Birmingham Phoenix got rid of the top five, it was just a procession after that. In reply, Ben Duckett and Moeen Ali made a mockery of the chase as they gave no chance whatsoever to Northern Superchargers. Apart from bowling, credit is due to Moeen Ali for his aggressive fielding as well which created a lot of pressure. A comfortable win for Birmingham Phoenix and they go above Northern Superchargers for now on the table.
A one sided affair. Complete dominance from Birmingham Phoenix but surely even they will be surprised as to how Northern Superchargers scored so little on such a pitch. It felt like Birmingham Phoenix were batting on a completely different pitch. They chased down the score inside 40 balls however credit to their bowlers. The eyes were on the likes of Ben Stokes, Matthew Short who were making a comeback but the experienced Tim Southee disrupted the fairytale. Nicholas Pooran and Harry Brook found it difficult to sustain out as well.
