Phil Salt wins the Player of the Match award. He says it is nice to be on the right side, the pitch was a bowler friendly and they bowled well. Shares the results haven't gone their way, they have lost in key moments and it was important to get a win. It felt like London Spirit will see it through but Manchester Originals came in clutch at the right time. They got rid of Shimron Hetmyer and Andre Russell to put a lot of pressure on Keaton Jennings who struggled to get his team over the line. He actually struggled throughout his innings and in a bowler friendly pitch, there was a lot of pressure on one man. Manchester Originals though who were playing for pride have done justice to their fans as they finally see a victory.
London Spirit lose and they too along with Manchester Originals are out of the competition. An excellent bowling display from Salt and his team. Fazalhaq Farooqi started the show with two really good deliveries to get rid of Michael Pepper and Ollie Pope in quick succession. Dan Lawrence was run out as well. Shimron Hetmyer survived twice and he along with Keaton Jennings batted well.
