Right then! That is all we have from this game and from Super Saturday as well. Do not worry as the action in the CSA T20 Challenge continues on the 13th of February, Sunday with another doubleheader. In the first match, Highveld Lions will take on Western Province. That match begins at 1.30 pm IST (8 am GMT). The build-up will begin much sooner though. Do join us then. Till then take care and goodbye!
The skipper of Titans, Theunis de Bruyn says that they are winning games but they are not playing great cricket. He adds that he asked the bowlers to do something special today and they have delivered. He says that the spinners bowled well but overall they need to play better cricket.
Lizaad Williams is the BOWLER OF THE MATCH! Williams says that it's always nice to get a win and to contribute to that win and he is happy to have done that today. He adds that they bowled well in the Powerplay and did well to defend a below-par score. He mentions that he just looked to hit the top of off and was ready for the consequences.
Heinrich Klaasen is the BATTER OF THE MATCH! Klaasen says that a couple of wickets up front helped them a lot and overall it has been a good effort. He says that he is happy with the way he batted and hopes to continue in the same vein.
Time for the presentation...
Defending a below-par score, the Titans didn't get a wicket in the first three overs. Then Aaron Phangiso came in and got the first wicket, which brought two more and they had a stronghold on the match. Phangiso was brilliant throughout but in the middle overs, their bowlers were just a tad sluggish, allowing their opponents back into the contest. The bowler of the day, Lizaad Williams came back in at the death and pulled off a stunning catch off his own bowling to get rid of Behardien and then Shamsi, along with some neat work behind the stumps by de Kock ended any hopes of a comeback. In the end, it was a well-deserved victory for the titans.
From 120 for 5 to being bundled out for 124, that is some collapse from the Knights! Jacques Snyman was positive at the start and Patrick Kruger too looked good. Knights lost their way inside the Powerplay and a poor run-out did not help their confidence. Raynard van Tonder the culprit in the run-out stayed on and tried to build a partnership with Farhaan Behardien. Van Tonder then perished while looking to up the ante but Moshele provided a bit of momentum to the chase. Then came the cameo from Migael Pretorius and Behardien too started striking the ball well. Once Behardien fell, the Knights collapsed.
Well, it was a topsy-turvy chase to say the least. Knights started off fairly well but lost 3 wickets in quick succession and when Titans were in full command of the game, came a surge from Knights. But in the last 3 overs, the Titans were clinical and managed to kill the chase, handing their opponents a third defeat in a row. Titans now make their way into the top four with this win.

OUT! CAUGHT! It's all over! Just two overs before, Knights were right in the game but they have been bowled out here for 124! Courtesy a dramatic collapse! A length delivery on middle. Alfred Mothoa continues with his wild swings across the line. This time he gets a thick outside edge. The ball flies towards third man and Lizaad Williams there takes a good low catch. Lizaad Williams is not convinced though about his catch and asks umpires to go upstairs and replays confirm that he has taken a clean catch. So Titans win by 27 runs!
Is that a catch? The fielder, Lizaad Williams asks the umpires to go upstairs as he is not sure if he has taken it cleanly or not. The decision is sent upstairs and the soft signal is OUT. The players in the middle are shaking each other's hands and the replay shows that there is no conclusive evidence to overturn the on field decision. With this, Knights have been bundled out.

OUT! RUN OUT! Gregory Mahlokwana is gone and any hopes before this over has been put to rest. A fuller delivery on off. Nealan van Heerden drives it to covers and the batters run for a single. Ayabulela Gqamane fires in a throw at the batter's end and Gregory Mahlokwana running to the danger end is out of his crease.
Is that a run-out? Once again Quinton de Kock seems certain as the decision is sent upstairs. The batters push for a risky single and Ayabulela Gqamane fires in the throw towards the keeper. De Kock collects it well on the half-volley and whips off the bails in a flash. The replay shows that Gregory Mahlokwana is well short and he has to depart. OUT!
