...Presentation coming up...
Shafali Verma came out and played as she always does and gave a blistering chance. Sri Lanka had a hope as they got Ghosh quickly as well but Shweta Sehrawat and Soumya Tiwari played out with easy to win the game. Just too easy for India. Sri Lanka were beaten all over in this game.
A comfortable chase in the end. A good recovery from India after losing to Australia and they put on a strong performance. It was the bowlers who did the job but most importantly it was an important toss to win for India. Their spinners trapped Sri Lanka in the web and the Lankans were just not able to get out of it. Wickets kept on tumbling. Only two players scored a double digit score but to be honset, it was just too low for Sri Lanka Women Under-19 to have a chance.
