Right then, that's it from the coverage of this game and this competition. Mohammad Haris now is being joined by his teammates and the celebrations have begun for Pakistan. The trophy has been lifted and now it is time for a group picture, and savour this sweet memory. memory. We are certainly done with the Men's Emerging Asia Cup, but this only means one thing. Oh yes! Stay tuned for the presentation...
Earlier in the match, after being put to bat first Pakistan A got off to a dream start, all thanks to their opening stand. But once this stand was broken, there was a period where they lost wickets in cluster. Nevertheless, Tayyab put his hand up and certainly handed the advantage to his side with his 71-ball 108 runs. In the end, some major contribution from the lower order made sure that they end with an above-par score on this wicket which favoured the spinners.
There were murmurs about spin doing the damage on this deck and Pakistan A certainly capitalized on the conditions. They found it difficult to keep the run rate in check with the new ball, but once the spinners came into play. It completely changed the trajectory of this game. Sufiyan Muqeem was the star with ball with his three-wicket haul. Mehran Mumtaz and Mubashir Khan chipped in with two wicket and a single wicket respectively, while the seamers has some success as well. In the end, Pakistan A were brilliant with both bat and ball and were deserved to be the champions.
Looking at the way India A started the chase, they looked quite impressive and solid, and for once one might've thought India would at least get near the 300-run mark, but it was not to be. Sai Sudharsan and Abhishek Sharma stitched a solid first-wicket stand and set the tone of the chase. Sai slipped out inside the Powerplay 1, but his partner made sure to get his half-century and continue his good work. Although, in the middle overs, the Indian batting order could not really step their game up and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. To be honest, apart from the opening pair, and Yash Dhull no other batter really brought their A-game with the bat in hand and eventually got bundled out for 224 runs, handing the win to Pakistan A.
This is an emphatic win for Pakistan A. They have done it again!! They have retained the championship. Pakistan A were beaten by India A earlier in the campaign, but they have avenged their defeat, and that too, in the finals. It will surely be a sweeter victory for them. India A were unstoppable in the group stages, but will be crestfallen on missing out on being the champions. Nevertheless, it is true that whenever India and Pakistan meet-up, everyone is surely in a for treat of a cricket match.

OUT! TIMBER! On a length and on off, angling in, Yurajsinh Dodiya tries to block it but misses as the ball rattles over the stumps. Pakistan A celebrates their victory as the umpire checks for a possible no ball. The replay anyways shows that it's a legal delivery and the celebration continues. A full toss, just outside leg, Yurajsinh Dodiya looks to flick it but gets rapped on his pads. A loud appeal, rather a celebration from the Pakistan A side but the finger stays down! They collect a leg bye.
