Wanindu Hasaranga is the player of the match. He says that he tried to bowl simply and the job was done. Adds that he is happy about his batting and Fakhar Zaman is excellent as well. Ends by saying that they have top bowlers by their side and they bounced back well after losing the first two.

Earlier in the match, the B-Love Kandy bowlers were excellent and never let the Jaffna Kings batters settle. Dunith Wellalage scored 38 at the end and gave their bowlers something to fight for. Wanindu Hasaranga and Nuwan Pradeep picked up three wickets each. Angelo Mathews took two while Isuru Udana had one in his kitty.
To be honest, there is not much to write about the Jaffna Kings bowlers. They had a low total to defend. They started off well but failed to pick the wickets. Maheesh Theekshana and Nandre Burger picked up a wicket each and that was it. The rest of the bowlers were wicketless.
That was a comprehensive victory for the B-Love Kandy! They never looked in trouble and won the game with seven overs left and eight wickets in hand. They had made a steady start. Once Dinesh Chandimal was dismissed, Wanindu Hasaranga came on and ran a havoc over the Jaffna Kings bowlers. He scored a quickfire fifty with Fakhar Zaman playing the second fiddle. He lost his wicket at the very end but Wanindu Hasaranga stayed unbeaten.
