Match Abandoned

Well, we comeback with the worst possible update! The MATCH HAS BEEN ABANDONED! We got to witness just the one inning and this was shaping up to be a good game. However, it is rain which has come out on top here. That's it from the coverage of this game. Until next time, goodbye and take care!
The covers are firmly placed and we have started to lose overs now.
...THE CHASE...
Afghanistan won't mind a score of around 150 to chase but there were many areas of concern with the ball in hand. Azmatullah Omarzai looked like he lacked match practise as he went for a lot of runs while the spinners, Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi and Noor Ahmad were not upto the mark in the middle phase. Still, there is some rust to be shaken off but now Afghanistan will hope their batters can chase down this target as the wicket looks decent enough to bat. Stay tuned. Update! Looks like the groundsmen are expecting some showers and as a result, the covers are back on for now. Stay tuned.
A decent first half of the game and we feel Afghanistan will be happier of the two sides as they bowled well in the final few overs. Oman had wickets in hand but their batters didn't take too many risks when needed and feels like they have ended 10 runs short here. Kashyap Prajapati and Pratik Athavale started really well but it was Aqib Ilyas who along with Kashyap Prajapati added more than 50 runs to put Oman in a strong position but the batters could have gone for some glory shots with so many wickets in the bag.
